Black Garlic Glaze with Tempeh

Ingredients & Quantity
  • 3 cloves garlic – chopped
  • 1 inch ginger – cut into thick slices
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp black garlic sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2-3 tsp water

How to Prepare
  1. Add all the ingredients to a pot and cook uncovered until reduced. Keep stirring to avoid burning.
  2. Remove the ginger slices before using this as a glaze.
  3. Marinate your tempeh in the glaze for 30 mins, and stir fry on high heat till crisp.
