How to Prepare
- Leave unsalted butter at room temperature for 1hr
- Drain capers from the brine
- Toast the capers gently at 120 degree Celsius
- when capers are dry enough chop finely and fold in soften butter
- Apply on a slice of toasted sourdough bread and your favourite topping to make an open sandwich – tomatoes, grilled vegetables or top with smoked salmon and serve !!
- Use the butter to baste meats/ chicken/ fish
